I dont think it is fair to make the bird worry with these 2 cats likin' their wiskers at the sight of it. Any advice? ..

The grays make the colors look so much more rich! Not that the birds like this answer- I know I always have had trouble with it.
Just keep feeding the kitties that "special" food & they'll stay busy batting at the swirling harlequin-faces instead!
