The Duet- Ms. Jenkins and Firends

"The stage was invariably smothered in flowers and greenery, it being the diva's theory that their perfumes would mingle deliciously with the trills and arabesques of her voice. "

Do I detect a distaste for opera? Or perhaps this particular diva?

Or conversely, do you have an unusual fondness for the musical emanations of crows?

Thanks for your comments on Newton, fruit pastries & the English language-- very entertaining!

The corvid shriek is great! My favorite birds, you know. For some reason they keep showing up in my art.
This is a wonderful, humorous piece.
And thank you for your comments, both on Lolo and moleskine.

Alas, I have now heard the demonic Ms. J, & all is painfully clear. If I were a crow, I'd feel insulted. Look out if you go near any cornfields.
