"The stage was invariably smothered in flowers and greenery, it being the diva's theory that their perfumes would mingle deliciously with the trills and arabesques of her voice. " - Daniel Dixon
The corvid shriek is great! My favorite birds, you know. For some reason they keep showing up in my art. This is a wonderful, humorous piece. And thank you for your comments, both on Lolo and moleskine.
your work is brilliant (I've been scrolling down your blog for quite a while here). you seem to work with such speed, lightness and ease... Beautiful crows!

Do I detect a distaste for opera? Or perhaps this particular diva?
Or conversely, do you have an unusual fondness for the musical emanations of crows?
Thanks for your comments on Newton, fruit pastries & the English language-- very entertaining!
This is a wonderful illo. I love the painterly effect you achieved.
great work, a really nice interpretation of the theme!

Alas, I have now heard the demonic Ms. J, & all is painfully clear. If I were a crow, I'd feel insulted. Look out if you go near any cornfields.
